Note from Our Founder

MetroScout NY didn't start in a boardroom. It wasn't founded by wealthy individuals looking for a venture, or people who have never needed the safety net themselves or a loved one.It started with caring for a mother with progressing dementia, drowning in a system that was supposed to help. That person was me with my mom.I knew the benefits existed, but accessing them felt impossible. It was a cycle of dead ends: fast-talking representatives to whom this was "just a job," endless hold times, and a disjointed bureaucracy where the right hand didn't know what the left was doing. I oftentimes felt like the help was floating right above us—visible, but out of reach. I realized then that the resources were there, but the bridge to get to them was broken.Today, MetroScout is that bridge. We are building a movement that refuses to accept confusion, complexity, and indifference as the status quo. Our MetroScouts don't give up, and we don't disappear. We stay in the fight until you get what you need.
